In the early 1980s, the streets of the South Bronx were the epicenter of an artistic explosion that would transform culture throughout the world. Camera in hand, independent filmmaker Charlie Ahearn captured the birth of Hip-Hop. His film 'Wild Style,' now celebrating its 25th anniversary, features many of the early luminaries, including Grandmaster Flash, Fab 5 Freddy, The Chief Rocker Busy Bee, The Rock Steady Crew, Grand Wizard Theodore, Grand Master Caz and the Cold Crush Bros. The film also stars break dancers and graffiti artists whose creativity was sparked by the artistic ferment of that amazing moment in time. Charlie Ahearn appears in conjunction with the film 'Wild Style.'
