Not our typical food tour, this riverfront tour showcases the exciting opportunities for adventure recreation in the middle of downtown Richmond. Suitable for ages 8 and up, this adventure introduces guests to the beautiful and historic James River with its Class IV rapids running through downtown and includes parts of Shockoe Slip. You won’t get wet, but you will walk on bridges and a pipeline that overlook the river, enjoy a picnic lunch from Alamo BBQ at historic Tredegar delivered by Quickness RVA, and head to Belle Isle for a zip along Passages Adventure Camp’s thrilling 350 ft. long zipline over the Belle Isle Quarry. Experience what Richmond’s riverfront has to offer–hiking, history, and heights! Check out this RTD video of zipline fun and this one from Richmond.com to see for yourself! Wellness in Richmond took some great video on our most recent Wild in the City tour.
A waiver must be signed to use the zipline. Children under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian. There is a 250 lb. weight limit for the zipline. You will have a choice of lunch selections. There is a no zipline option.
