We will gather in the downstairs classroom of the Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center (CREEC) for a slide program and general discussion of wild edibles. This program will cover wild edibles found in the Piedmont and Mountain regions of Georgia through which the Chattahoochee River flows. Moving out to the pavilion we will closely examine a wild edible or two, followed by lunch. After lunch we will walk the grounds of the CREEC and follow the Lutra Loop Trail seeking out wild edibles.
