Sip Wine, Save the Planet: Wild Crush Dinner and Auction

The Environmental Volunteers, the award-winning, nature education organization based in Palo Alto, will host "Wild Crush: A Wine Affaire," a lively evening of wine tasting, dining and a live auction, on Saturday April 29th in Menlo Park at 6:30 pm.

Guests will taste fine California wines and enjoy a gourmet dinner and live auction, all in support of the EV's hands-on science experiences that reach more than 10,000 local schoolchildren each year.

For more than 34 years, the Environmental Volunteers non-profit group has promoted understanding of the environment through hands-on science education. With the help of more than one hundred volunteers, the group serves more than 90 schools in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties each year. The group fills a large and ever-increasing need for school-based natural science education and has won numerous awards for its work. In December 2003 the group received California's top environmental honor, the Governor's Environmental and Economic Leadership Award in Children's Environmental Education.

$150 per person.
