Wild At Heart Double Holiday Fur Demos! December 15, 2006

Hello activists!
This week W@H is having two anti-fur demonstrations for the busy holiday shopping season! Are you as disturbed as we are by the amount of fur and fur-trim products you have seen this winter? Raise your voice, take action, and join us for some anti-fur campaigning!

Candlelight Vigil For Fur Victims
Every year, 2 million animals in Canada lose their lives on fur farms and in leghold traps for the fur industry. Over 40 million animals around the world are murdered yearly for their fur. Please join Wild At Heart for a nighttime demonstration and candlelight vigil in memory of those who lose their lives for human vanity.
When: Friday December 15
Where: 322 Queen St West, in front of Fashion Crimes
When: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Fur Is Criminal! Fashion Crimes Demo
Local designer Pam Chorley has persisted in using fur in her designs. Join us in telling her that wearing, using, and selling fur is never acceptable!
When: Saturday December 16
