Marketing & Sales Techniques that Really Work
Wednesday, February 25, 2009, 5:30 – 7:30 pm PST
In this economy, consultants need to be better than ever at finding and signing clients. Clients are downsizing, reducing budgets, or bringing tasks in house. Some WIC members report that they need to proactively seek new business for the first time in years or that it takes more skill to actually close sales. It all means a steep learning curve for both new and experienced consultants.
Our February meeting will feature WIC members' stories of successful marketing & sales adventures (and maybe a few cautionary tales of what doesn't work). There will be time for lots of networking and for discussion and brainstorming about how to improve your own sales & marketing.
WIC San Francisco's theme for 2009 is Learning from and with Each Other. Bring your questions, your ideas, plenty of business cards, and your desire to learn and to share your knowledge.
