Why Women Rock Tour!! November 4, 2006

We are excited about Why Women Rock! The event is on November 4th 8-5pm at the civic plaza! It is an all day workshop with 6 national speakers/trainers, plus a celebrity silent auction for charity, along with the "Pamper You Corner"! This event is the first in a 10 city tour which will start in ’07. Cost for early registration is only $169

For each event we will be choosing a local charity and a national charity-for the November event we are supporting Fresh Start Womens Foundation (local) and The Gal to Gal Foundation (this site is OPRAH’s favorite...just got nominated) that supports breast cancer research. The producers have created two elements in the event that will go to support the charities: we will be giving 100% of the celebrity auction, which will be split between the two charities.
With our Celebrity auction and our goal locating 30 items from women who rock, which spans in all areas of life. Items from artists, singers, actresses, advocates, inspirational women, poets, painters, politicians, and even famous local people too are perfect! If you are interested in helping and/or being on the celeb auction committee please let us know.

The tour is being produced by Dena Patton, founder of Chat, Chew & Chocolate, and Carmela Tafoya, founder of No Excuse Workshops.
