1812 Productions' 2010-2011 season opener will be the world premiere production of Jennifer Childs' first original solo work, 'Why I'm Scared of Dance by Jen Childs.' Best known for her premiere comedy creations ('Always a Lady,' 'Cherry Bomb,' 'This Is The Week That Is,' 'Double Down'), Ms. Childs takes to the stage to give the audience a one on one lesson in jazz, hip hop, ballet, and why working at the barre is not quite as much fun as working at the bar. A moving and self-effacing comedy, 'Why I'm Scared of Dance by Jen Childs' is about turning the choreography life gives you into the dance that only you were born to do.
