In honor of Mother Earth, musician and filmmaker Robby Romero will launch the Project Protect Awareness Campaign’s educational initiative tour at the Harwood Museum Of Art with students from the University of New Mexico Taos on March 28th from 7pm – 9pm. Romero will screen his music picture “Who’s Gonna Save You” and welcome local eco entrepreneur leaders including KTAOS world famous solar radio founder Brad Hockmeyer, eco- architect Michael Reynolds, chairman of the UNM-Taos green tech program Mark Goldman, Taos Pueblo artist Jonathan Warm Day along with Angelo McHorse and Hillery Duran from Taos Pueblo Red Willow Farm (and farmer’s market). Native Children’s Survival representative & actress Irene Bedard and Sage Institute representative & poet Dora E. McQuaid will moderate the evening and ask these groundbreakers to share the ways they’ve used their vision to help raise awareness for the protection of Mother Earth. Romero will close the evening with a acoustic performance of All Our Colors, the next music single in support of the Project Protect Awareness Campaign and will be joined by special guest artist Robert Mirabal.
The event is FREE to Taos County K-12 and UNM-Taos students and faculty members, advance tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
