'80s rockers Whitesnake return to rehash the good ol' days of big hair, sexy women and power ballads. Former Deep Purple singer David Coverdale formed the band during the latter half of the '70s rock 'n' roll heyday. It really wasn't until the 1980s (and MTV) that Whitesnake made any impact in the U.S., gaining chart action from singles like 'Here I Go Again' and 'Is This Love.' Coverdale remains the sole original member, after songwriting partner and metal guitarist Adrian Vandenberg departed in 1999.
