This spring, the Chinese Culture Center (CCC) of San Francisco continues its annual Xian Rui (‘fresh’ and ‘sharp’) exhibition series with White Ink, a highly anticipated, site-specific installation of abstract ink paintings by Bay Area artist Zheng Chongbin. The 15 new, large-scale works demonstrate why Zheng’s profoundly contemporary approach to ink has been hailed as unprecedented. According to scholar and curator of contemporary Chinese art, Britta Erickson, “He has opened a door whose existence was hitherto unsuspected.”
Please note the Center is closed on Mondays. Hours are as follows: Tuesdays – Saturdays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sundays 12 – 4 p.m.
