White Dance is the first work Eiko & Koma created upon their arrival in New York City in 1976 as new immigrants. Now, they are integral members of the American dance community and winners of numerous prestigious awards, including a MacArthur Fellowship. White Dance has an archaic landscape that is both pitiless and humanistic.
