Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake: Beginner Watercolour with Marianne Broome June 12, 2009

This course is suitable for beginners or those continuing in watercolours. Personal attention from the instructor is given as you learn a myriad of skills and tips. Through discussion and demonstrations, basic and advanced techniques of watercolour painting will be incorporated into paintings of landscapes and flowers. Toypics include colour selection and mixing, value, texture, shape, the use of different brushes, washes, composition, glazing, perspective, wet-in wet, dry brush and problem solving techniques.
