401 N Michigan Ave
Chicago, Illinois

If you find yourself on the Magnificent Mile on Black Friday, keep your eyes open - for one hour that afternoon, bargains won't be the only things being hunted. Waldo, Odlaw, Wanda, Woof, and the Wizard Whitebeard - characters from the classic WHERE'S WALDO books - will be mingling with the crowds and trying to evade the eyes of all who hunt them.

What brings them to the busy streets of Chicago? They're the quarries of "Where's Waldo: The Magnificent Mile," the inaugural project of Finders Keepers, a new scavenger hunt and events company founded by graduates of the famed University of Chicago Scavenger Hunt.

The hunt for Waldo and friends is free and open to the public (though donations will be accepted to defray the costs of costumes and prizes). Participants will search for them on the Magnficent Mile between noon and 1:00pm.

The first participant to find all five characters will recieve the Grand Prize. Additionally, the first 25 registrants will receive complimentary gift bags.

Registration will begin at 11:30 in two locations: in the plaza just south of the Tribune Buliding at 401 N Michigan, and in front of the John Hancock Tower on the northwest corner of Michigan and Chestnut. Net-savvy searchers can register early by emailing info@finderskeeperscentral.com.

Come dressed for the weather, and be prepared for a hearty search up and down Michigan Avenue!
