The National Art Gallery (working title), Singapore, is a new visual arts institution dedicated to the display, promotion, research and study of Southeast Asian art and Singapore art. It will host international art exhibitions, and will contribute to building Singapore as a regional and international hub for the visual arts.
Join us at a public exhibition on the National Art Gallery Architecture Competition and be part of this historical moment of Singapore’s visual arts scene.
The exhibition will showcase the top five design schemes and models, including the three winning designs for the National Art Gallery from France, Taiwan and Singapore. All 111 entries submitted in the first stage of the competition will also be featured.
The National Art Gallery is scheduled for completion in 2012.
