Event Details:
New to FoS? Welcome. We are a political group working for a more urban, livable, sustainable Seattle (visit www.friendsofseattle.org). Our philosophy? No more excuses: It's time for voters who want reform to get involved and to demand change and accountability. Already a member? Thanks! Your efforts over the last few months and your donation at our kick-off helped us reach 41,000 voters in the fight against the Viaduct rebuild. Congratulations, thanks to you, we all made a difference.
Ready for the next fight? Come to our spring celebration to find out What's Next for the Viaduct, the city, for Friends of Seattle. Meet us, meet our partners, meet each other, get involved. We'll show images of our 50-year-vision and have information about current and upcoming projects.
We'll be looking for volunteers (event planning, policy analysis, political organizing, etc), bloggers for a new group blog, and anyone else who wants to add their name to the growing list of people interested in shaping Seattle's future.
At our last event, over 200 people came to get involved and mingle with fellow FoS members and local elected officials.
