Join the International Association of Nanotechnology and the Clean Tech Institute on Thursday, August 28, for a discussion of development efforts in inorganic nanotechnology, presented by Peter S. Garcia, Chief Financial Officer of Nanosys.
Palo Alto-based Nanosys is a nanotechnology company that develops, manufactures and sells products using a technology platform of high-performance inorganic nanostructures. The technologies being developed at Nanosys cover multiple industries including energy, electronics, optoelectronics, life science and defense. Current applications include flat-panel displays, non-volatile memory, fuel cells, solid-state lighting, chemical analysis chips and medical devices.
Mr. Garcia joined Nanosys in 2004 as its CFO and has more than 20 years’ experience in various roles at biotechnology and high tech companies.
IANANO will also present a brief overview of its clean tech/nanotech training programs and resources. Cost is $10/non-members; free to members.
