Contemplation, Action and Community
What is the importance of contemplation and action in a spiritual life? How can we balance contemplation and action? What part does community play in developing a sense of spirituality and how do we build it?
Jack Kennedy, M.A., M.Div., trained in the Ignatian (Jesuit) tradition, has 38 years experience as a spiritual accompanier, retreat facilitator, and educator, working with people from diverse spiritual backgrounds. Jack leads classes and workshops on spirituality-based decision-making.
This series explores the meaning of spirituality; what faith traditions can offer the spiritual life; and the spiritual meaning of contemplation, action and community, with an emphasis on the universality of compassion.
