How do bubbles affect volcanic eruptions? What can we learn from the sounds volcanoes make? Join Dr Alison Rust to discuss research which can help save the lives of those living in the shadow of volcanoes.

Dr Alison Rust is a Royal Society University Research Fellow at University of Bristol. Her research focusses on the dynamics of volcanic processes.

Café Scientifique events aim to provide a forum for the debate of scientific ideas. Free and open for all to attend, join scientists and other specialists to explore current issues in science over a drink. Audience participation is strongly encouraged.

This event is free to attend, doors open at 6pm and admission is on a first come, first served basis. Food and drink will be available to purchase from 6pm until 7.30pm.
