What Am I Worth? Communicating How HR Professionals Contribute to the Corporate 'Bottom Line' March 4, 2008

HR professionals are key contributors to the success of their organizations. Yet, it can be extremely difficult for them to quantify their value to others-especially top management. This makes it especially challenging for these professionals to get the attention, respect, appreciation, and rewards they merit.
Participants will learn to:

Develop effective stratgies that communicate and demonstrate the value of your HR expertise and performance

Articulate your role as an organizational change manager

Highlight your role in supporting organizational compliance

Showcase your industry knowledge as well as understanding of your organization's culture and knowledge of appropriate candidate "fit"

Create your action plan to demonstrate how you create and sustain value for your organization

Workshop format will include both individual and group exercises. Participants will leave with a new awareness as well as tools and skills they can apply right away!

About our guest speaker: Elli St. George Godfrey, LMHC founded her corporate coaching business in 2005 (www.abilitysuccessgrowth.com) providing entrepreneurial coaching and life coaching to executives and business owners. Prior to that, she worked in food, retail, and mental health industries, specializing in program development and management/leadership. She holds a Master's Degree from Antioch University New England, a bachelor's degree from Emmanuel College, and her coaching training at Coaches Training Institute.
