Wex Drive-In: The Wolf Man June 18, 2009

June's feature is the Universal horror classic The Wolf Man—and the party gets going especially early as GenWex presents a warm-up where you can listen to the vintage R & B, soul, and new wave DJ True Skillz spins to get the evening started.

This atmospheric, archetypal version stars Lon Chaney Jr. as a man bitten by a werewolf and features the work of makeup genius Jack Pierce. The stellar supporting cast includes Claude Rains, Warren William, Bela Lugosi, and Ralph Bellamy. The film starts at dusk, which should be a little after 9 PM this month. (70 mins., 35mm)

In the event of rain, the screening will move inside and begin at 9 PM and the Wex Drive-In Warm-Up will be cancelled.
