“Wet Paint 2010” August 21, 2010

“Still wet" artworks created by regional artists on Saturday, August 21 will be sold during silent and live auctions at the Newport Art Museum by day’s end on Sunday, August 22. Proceeds benefit the Museum's extensive education, exhibition and community outreach programs. Create and submit a work of art, or join in as a spectator as hundreds of artists fan out across Aquidneck Island. Of course, bidders are always welcome! Artists can pre-register online at www.NewportArtMuseum.org. Artist registration: Saturday, August 21: 8 – 10 am. Art drop-off deadline: August 21, 3 pm. Preview Reception and Silent Bidding: August 21, 6 – 8 pm. Free for participating artists and a guest; $10 for Museum members; $15 for non-members.
