Westfield Wheaton’s Westfield Family program presents In Living Color for the month of July, featuring Westfield Family Fun Days designed to help kids learn about art and create their own. At these free, family-friendly activities, kids will unleash their own creativity while learning more about classic painters.
July 8th will feature story time with “Art & Max” by David Wiesner and “Vincent Van Gogh: Sunflowers and Swirly Stars” by Brad Bucks and Joan Holub. Kids also will create their own Van Gogh sunflower pots to take home and enjoy a fun and healthy snack.
On July 22nd, the kids will create and frame their own masterpieces, have story time with “Uncle Andy's” by James Warhola and “Action Jackson,” by Jan Greenberg, Sandra Jordan and Robert Andrew Parker and enjoy another healthy snack.
This month’s program will be coordinated with the assistance of The Montgomery Art Association’s Art Gallery, which is located on the upper level near Radio Shack.
