Our last ghost walk of the year. This is a free event (doantions welcome) and open to all ages.
This walk will be to Lonesome Lock, a semi-secluded spot deep in the Cuyahoga Valley along the Ohio and Erie Canal.
It's a distance of a couple of miles (give or take).
We recommend bringing cameras and recording equipment. On the way to the lock itself there will be a stop at a railroad underpass tunnel where several voices have been heard. On the tracks above this location we have previously recorded a voice singing along to I've Been Working on the Railroad.
At the lock itself there are the ruins of a lockkeepers cottage. During a previous investigation there a recorder picked up a disembodied voice calling
for someone named Debbie.
At that time we may continue the walk to it's next destination, the Stumpy River Basin, this is where boats would hole up in the winter time, and ice would be collected for sale during the warmer months.
It's not required but you can RSVP to westernreserveparanormal@yahoo.com or contact us with any questions.
