West Winton Bird Hike March 26, 2011

This might be our final chance of the season to explore an area of our shoreline that includes seasonal wetlands. These ponds are not tidal, and are only wet during the winter and spring. We will be on the lookout for dabbling ducks that utilize these shallow waters. We will meet at the parking lot at the west end of W. Winton Ave., Hayward. Ages 12 and up. Free.
