This eclectic group features 15 of Philly's finest, most adventurous performers from a wide array of musical backgrounds. They play a variety of world music. Beat Circus is a Boston-based carney-band outfit - an eclectic group of musicians who collaborate with circus performers, burlesque dancers, comedians, and acrobats. They create a music which is a fiction of the past, a crazy burlesque circus with touches of 1920s vaudeville, circus music, and burlesque.
