West 34 makes a triumphant return to This Must Be The Place at 206 Main St in Lemont. After a successful show at this venue last year, West 34 has been asked back for a return engagement. West 34 is a high energy act and for the past 3 years has been covering deep cut rock and blues covers. Now this infinitely talented band has a set of new original material written and put to music last year.
Also on this triple bill will be some young rock heavyweights. Joining West 34 will be local favorite Pheta Morgana. This group of young rockers will blow you away with their power and presence. Speaking of presence they will conjure up images of a early 1970's era Led Zeppelin including the shirtless lead singer Carl Mc Carthy who has been compared to Robert Plant circa 1970. Completing this awesome triple dose of talent is a fresh new trio from De Kalb called Machine Gun Moses. They bring together jam, funk, blues, rock, and reggae into a completely unique sound. Influenced by names such as Sublime, 311, James Brown, Moe, Frank Zappa, The Grateful Dead and George Clinton, Machine Gun Moses plays music that everyone can get down and dance to. Their shows feature rhythmic guitar, strong vocals, funky bass, and upbeat drums. Don't miss this show ladies and gents.
