"Weekend of 100 Parties" to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County July 22, 2010

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) will hold its annual “Weekend of 100 parties” during the weekend of July 23-25, 2010. This is a fundraising event in which the BGCM calls upon the public to host their own parties and collect donations from their guests. The party can be located anywhere and party hosts can choose any theme, as it is their party. At the end of each party, the donations will be sent to BGCM.

The party host guidelines, as per BGCM, suggest that parties can be a minimum of eight people with a suggested minimum contribution of $50 per guest. The host provides food and beverage selections of their choice. Some parties in the past have included the following: Business Card Exchange, Beach Club party, Block party and many more. Donations are 100% tax deductible and all proceeds go directly support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, Youth Development Programs.

“This is a fun opportunity for those who are looking to support the kids & the community while hosting a party to share the Club with friends & family, who might not be familiar with what we do,” stated Development Director, Kelli Very.
