Saturday September 8 - Saturday September 15, starting Saturday, 9:30 - 10:30 AM
We invite you to discover Breema, a body-based practice with nine universal principles as the foundation, between September 8-15. Any one of these free introductory events is a perfect way to discover a new way of thinking, feeling, and moving, and to nurture a new relationship to yourself, others, and all life.
The purpose of practicing Breema is to bring you to the present, and support you to remain present. Breema bodywork emphasizes mutual support to balance both giver and receiver. Breema's principles can be practiced anywhere, supporting us to bring greater harmony to our lives.
Taught in an experiential format, these events will offer:
* Self-Breema exercises you can practice to help unify body, mind and feelings.
* Breema bodywork that nurtures and energizes both the practitioner and the recipient.
* Universal principles you can apply to bring more harmony to any activity or condition of daily life.
Jon Schreiber, Director of the Breema Center and author of several books about Breema, will be leading the weekend workshop on Saturday, September 15 as part of this special introductory week.
Anyone interested in continuing to study Breema after these introductory events can participate in our ongoing weekly classes and in the Fall Intensive, which starts October 13.
Visit our website, www.breema.com, for complete details about all the free events, taking place at a number of venues in Oakland, Berkeley, Sebastopol, and Petaluma. To view videos about Breema, visit The Breema Channel on YouTube.
Breema is done with both the practitioner and recipient fully-clothed. No prior bodywork experience is needed. As Breema is floor-based, participants must be comfortable sitting and working on a well-padded carpeted floor.
