Inner Oasis Center for Awakening presents the 145 min film SNOW FALLING ON CEDARS. Based upon the novel by the same name, Snow Falling on Cedars takes place in Puget Sound, WA in 1954. The book (winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award) was filmed in 1999 and released in 2000. In 2010 the novel was adapted to the stage and produced in Portland, OR. This literary film is beautifully filmed and sustains the viewer with multiple full-fledged themes and characters. An astounding film. Refreshments and discussion follow the film.
