Wedding Dress Sale Benefiting Greyhound Friends April 4, 2009

Second Chances, a Natick-based thrift store benefiting Greyhound Friends, will host a spectacular wedding dress sale on April 4th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The event will help future brides make their dream come true by offering affordable gowns, proving the economy doesn’t have to spoil everyone’s party. The sale will allow brides to find a beautiful gown, manage their wedding budget and support a terrific cause at the same time. Second Chances Thrift Store is located at 6 West Central Street in Natick, MA, at the intersection of Route 27 and Route 135 in Natick Center.

The April 4th affair will include the sale of fifty wedding dresses, all of which were donated from the private collection of a greyhound adopter. Although the dresses have been previously worn, they are in excellent condition. The dresses vary in style, with some including trains and others veils. Gown prices begin at $100. While browsing the gowns, brides-to-be can munch on a delicious wedding cake, donated by The Bakery on the Common as well as get floral ideas from the event flowers provided by the English Garden Florist, both of Natick, MA.
