On September 18th, the Radisson Blu hotel in Bucharest will host Webstock 2009, the most important social media and web 2.0 Romanian event, that follows to gather for the 2nd time the best specialists of the local online industry.

Webstock is an unconference-style event that's dedicated to bringing together the new Internet community for a face-to-face collaborative meet-up where new relationships are formed, old relationships are reinvented, ideas are shared, multiple initiatives are moved forward, and valuable insights happen in real-time.

For one day, the event will include conferences and interactive workshops held by local and international speakers, invited to debate on the latest trends in social media, best practices in communication and advertising, but also on start-ups and web 2.0 development ideas, while presenting the latest technologies and tools now available.

The event will end with the Webstock Awards Gala, a competition that follows to celebrate the best and most novel 2.0 projects, developed during the last period, in the Romanian online landscape.

Also, Webstock 2009 will host the launch of the 2nd edition of Project PXL, the first digital photography magazine containing 100% user generated content- pictures received from internet users keen on photography.

The event is organized by Evensys in partnership with Vodafone Romania and is supported by Microsoft Romania, Adobe Romania, LG Romania and Kaspersky Lab Romania.
