In the next installment of our veteran webinar series, Excelsior College’s Center for Military Education will cover time management strategies, mentorship programs, and how an understanding your learning style can help ease the transition back to school, whether attending a traditional college campus or a distance learning institution.
The discussion will be led by knowledgeable experts from Excelsior, including learning services coordinator, Michelle Healy.
Excelsior's Judy Reed, director of veteran services and adjunct faculty member, and Shawn George, president of Marist College's student veterans organization will discuss their college mentorship programs and respective veterans’ centers.
Excelsior has been recognized by G.I. Jobs Magazine as a “Military Friendly College” every year since the publication’s inception.
In addition, Military Advanced Education has named Excelsior one of the top 20 colleges serving the U.S. military five years in a row and Military Times Edge magazine has named Excelsior a “Best for Vets” college three years in a row.
