The next "Third Thursday" seminar will run on Thursday 21st June at Velocity, Bradford starting at 5:30p.m. The speaker will be Ian Pringle formally of France Telecom.
Stories about MySpace, Youtube and the new range of Google products abound, but Web 2.0 offers the potential for far more than consumer and entertainment applications. Ian will discuss how the SME can and must take advantage of these new technologies and new ways of thinking in order to stay competitive.
Ian Pringle is a former member of France Telecom's high profile Technology Research team. Ian is now freelance and has been in much demand as a consultant on matters of Emerging Disruptive technologies and Rapid Prototyping. He is a founding partner of Carbon Imagineering, VP of Engineering for the Wireless Grids Corp and owner of Communications Software development house Inteleme. Ian holds a MSc with Distinction in Internet Application Development and is engaged in pre-doctoral research on the application of multi-agent and reasoning systems to social networks and authentication.
