“Trail Blazing Audio-Visual Party Starter”
Trail blazing audio-visual party starter DJ Yoda is back on May 11th at Brighton’s Concorde 2 for his first south-coast show in well over a year! Globally renowned for turning a room full of perfectly civilised individuals into a heaving mass of happy ravers, Yoda’s bass lead, no-nonsense party music combined with tongue-in-cheek visuals is an amazing sensual assault. The unique combination of music and visuals has lead Q Magazine to declare him “one of the ten DJs to see before you die”, whilst Hip Hop Connection voted him “one of the top three DJs in the world”.
Starting his career as a hip hop DJ, Yoda has evolved in the last 10 years using his incredible turntable skills, diverse musical influences and vast vault of film footage to host some of the best parties ever witnessed on earth! His amazing sets are built on a solid base of reggae, funk, soul and D+B but at their heart rely on being just one thing, unashamedly good party music!
Joining DJ Yoda on the night are two more international, club jumping, show stopping DJs. Lauded from Australia to Argentina, acclaimed in the Americas and basically guaranteed to cause a commotion wherever they party, Krafty Kuts and A-Skillz are back in Brighton!
Krafty Kuts is without doubt one of the world’s best DJs of the last 15 years. Inspired by the hip hop and electro sounds that he collected together in his Brighton record shop, his sets stitch and weave both music genres and the audience together. This homecoming set will definitely be one to remember!
A-Skillz has also toured the globe, hosting residencies at some the biggest clubs and festivals from London’s own Fabric to The Hit Factory in New York to Field View in Sydney! A regular alongside Radio 1’s DJ Annie Mac and winner of her mini mix of the year against the likes of Basement Jaxx, Mylo and Scratch Perverts, A-Skillz is paying the billz.
