We are all with you JAPAN! You are not alone!
The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre/East Japan Disaster Relief Charity Show Committee is proud to present a very exciting charity show on Saturday May 28th, 2011. Since the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami destroyed much of the coastal cities of Northeast Japan, an outpouring of sympathy and strong support has been demonstrated by all communities in Canada. Here at the home of the Japanese Canadian community, many professional and community musicians and artists are stepping forward to perform in a benefit for the victims in Japan.
Shokokai Court will open at 5:00 pm. Arrive a little early and bid on a silent auction item, or grab dinner or a snack before the show. At 7:00 pm, the lights of Kobayashi Hall will dim and the concert will begin. There will be a wide range of performances from Japanese traditional dance, to instrumental music, to contemporary dance, and much, much more!! Admission is only $30.00 (including HST). Such a variety in one show is a great value for a great cause!
All proceeds will be going to JCCC Foundation’s Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. So grab your neighbours and come to the JCCC to enjoy this unique event and show your support for JAPAN!
