Saxophonist Barry Winograd has been a figure on the Chicago jazz scene since age 15. A member of the Green Mill Quartet for 20-plus years, he also leads his own bands, including the Alternatives Big Band. Barry also hosts and programs WDCB’s “All Things Jazz” and WXRT’s “Jazz Transfusion.” He will be joined by pianist Dennis Luxion, bassist Ken Haebich, and drummer Eric Montzka.
A docent-guided tour of Mayslake Hall will be offered before the concert at 6:30 p.m. at $5/person.
