Waynesville Pride Day/arbor Day April 17, 2009

Waynesville Pride/Arbor Day will be April 18, 2009.

This is a day designated where groups, organizations, & individuals can participated in a city wide clean-up activity that concentrates on removing trash, litter, & other discarded items from public areas.

This year's event will start at 830am at the Roubidoux Park where participants will check in & receive their assigned areas, & a brief safety orientation.

There will also be a collection point established at the Roubidoux Park for area community members to drop off electronic items they no longer need or want - including computer components, small appliances, radios, dvd/cd players, & other small electronic items. There will be no charge for dropping these items off except for computer monitors for which a $5 drop off fee wil be collected. SORRY, but, NO TELEVISIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
