Waverly Park Trail Volunteer Day February 19, 2011

Volunteer with the Parks Natural Areas Division Trail Team volunteers and Kentucky Mountain Bike Association in maintianing and developing new hiking and biking trails in Waverly Park. This group meets at the playground parking lot on the third Saturday of each month, 9:00 am to noon. Activities include putting the finishing touches on newly built trail using hand tools, or maintaining existing trail by cutting back encroaching weeds, using loppers to remove overhanging vegetation or patrolling trails to provide condition reports.
