Come and join us for the 30th annual Fall Farm Days at Waters Farm. Tour the 1737 house and outbuildings, see demonstrations of colonial crafts such as hearth cooking, pottery, spinning and weaving, chair caning, and rug braiding. Visit a tin smith, stop by the blacksmith shop and shingle mill and learn about maple sugaring from the Blackstone Valley Sugaring Association at the sugar house. There are lots of animals, tractor, train and pony rides, and children’s activities such as face painting and pumpkin decorating. On Sunday bring your camera to take photos of your children in colonial costume. There will be a lumberjack show on Sunday and the Old Sturbridge Village Dancers will return in costume (check the website for the date and time of the dancers). Antique cars, police canine demonstrations, music, food and the Waters Farm ”famous apple crisp” will be available.
