Boulder Public Library is a 1970 film directed by Melvin Van Peebles, with Godfrey Cambridge, Estelle Parsons and Howard Caine. A bigoted white insurance man wakes up one morning only to discover he is now black. A wild comedy full of many social comments, it stars the great comedian Cambridge as a man whose world is truly turned upside down and introduces African American director Van Peebles to a larger audience.
