This exhibit shows examples of early printed books produced in Venice from the fifteenth century onward, from the time when Venice was a culturally renowned center for book printing. It also features a display of images of the city, including film clips depicting Venice in a theatrical light.
This exhibit is part of the U-M LSA Winter 2011 Water Theme Semester. It is on display in the Special Collections Library, on the 7th floor of the Hatcher Graduate Library, and is available during Special Collections Library hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5pm.
