Present day Los Angeles is struck with the news that the city’s water supply has been contaminated in a possible act of biological warfare. As turmoil grips the panic-stricken streets of the West Coast metropolis, Vikram, a young Sikh man fights to protect his family and friends from the hatred of racial scapegoating as his mother calmly raises the price of water at their store during the shortage. Amidst the hysteria of a fleeing population and rash media speculation, the National Guard is called in to protect the shrinking resources and the residents reach their breaking point.

Director Ben Rekhi’s dark speculative drama about an act of terror unleashed upon one of the US’ largest cities shows the stress of a terrified population as civility takes a back seat to survival instinct, and the only thing that counts is staying alive. With standout performances from an ensemble cast that includes Christopher Masterson (MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE), Ajay Naidu (OFFICE SPACE; CHUTNEY POPCORN), and Lindsey Price (CSI; BEVERLY HILLS 90210), this tense narrative reflects upon important issues of terrorism and race relations of concern in the modern world today.
