This new collection of exhibits includes a new built-in flowing water exhibit where yougn visitors can build channel and pipe systems, experiment with water in a vortex, and create different sheeting and spouting effects. The exhibit also has a special "pour and explore" basin especially for very young children. Other exhibits in the collection invite visitors to hold and examine the properties of mesmerizing mist-filled bubbles, channel moving fog, observe the shape and dynamics of water droplets caught by a strobe light in mid-air, experiment with aerodynamics using fluid, match water sounds and images, play a "whale drum," play with new puppets of animals who live in and around water, and more. Also, a selection of changing water-themed Science on the Spot activities are being offered.
