Kids will be enchanted as their favourite stories are brought to life with 3D Stories, a free interactive afternoon that features readings by author Loris Lesynski, crafts with visual artists Elena Espinoza and Dania Madera-Lerman and an interactive musical performance by Charlie Kert of Little Finger’s Music. Presented by Lakeshore Arts and the Toronto Public Library, 3D Stories will be at Sherway Gardens Saturday, September 27 from 12:30-3:30pm in Sherway Square. Meet Loris Lesynski, author of Boy Soup, Dirty Dog Boogie and Zig Zag: Zoems for Zindergarten, and be captivated as she reads from some of her favourite stories. Loris loves playing with words and her illustrations are bright and funny, making her readings lively and entertaining.
Create an artistic masterpiece with visual artists Elena Espinoza and Dania Madera-Lerman. The artists will encourage children to discover their own artistic abilities and make them appreciate their own unique talents in a fun, creative and relaxing atmosphere.
Clap and tap along to Little Finger’s Music with Charlie Kert, a children’s rock musician and arts educator who makes interactive learning games that inspire and motivate the children through rhythm and movement.
Local youth group YAM will also be offering free face painting and smiles throughout the afternoon.
