Washington Youth Choir presents "A Legacy in Song" November 18, 2007

The Washington Youth Choir invites the community to its first concert of the season “A Legacy in Song” on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 733 8th Street, NW; Washington, DC 20001. The concert will feature repertoire from a variety of genres and highlight both current members and alumni of the Washington Youth Choir and Eastern High School Choir.

The Washington Youth Choir was created in 2005 to address critical gaps in DC arts and college preparatory programming. Now in its third year, the Washington Youth Choir serves 40 high school students with its three-day a week after school program that combines vocal training and college preparatory sessions.
