Please join us in the Cliff House's Terrace Room as we honor three distinguished George Washington High School alumni, all with connections to education and research, selected as our 2010 GWHS Hall of Merit inductees:
- Dr. James Bindon, Class of Spring 1965, anthropology researcher, award-winning Professor at the University of Alabama.
- Dr. Arthur Nonomura, Fall 1968, botany researcher and Professor with numerous patented discoveries, currently a researcher at Scripps Institute of Oceanography, UC San Diego.
- Karl Seyer-Ochi, 1982, internationally recognized award-winning educator of Economics, American Democracy, and Culinary Geography, and the first GWHS teacher to be inducted into the Hall of Merit.
Entertainment provided by the GWHS Music Department and the GWHS Chamber Choir. The dinner's Master of Ceremonies is GWHS Alumni Association President/KGO-AM radio host John Rothmann.
