Washington, DC Emancipation 2009 Commemoration

Two films are by Canadian actor and producer Anthony Sherwood:

Honour Before Glory, a film about Canada’s only all black battalion during World War I, the No. 2 Construction Battalion. Blacks from Canada, the United States and the Caribbean served in the unit;

100Years of Faith, a film about the over 100 years of service to others of one of the oldest black churches in Canada, the Union United Church of Montreal, a spiritual haven founded by immigrants from the United States and the Caribbean.
