The Mid-Atlantic region’s most comprehensive indoor wine and food event returns to the nation’s capital for its 10th year, on Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15 – Valentine’s and Presidents’ Day weekend – at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
Over 200 international and domestic wineries will pour some 800 wines, and for the second year, spirits and some beers will be poured at the Washington, D.C. International Wine & Food Festival’s Grand Tasting. Weekend highlights include the 3rd Annual Grand Cru Wine Lounge, which this year will be incorporated into Saturday’s schedule (with a separate, exclusive admission); Plus Chef Demonstrations featuring culinary experts from Public Television and several local chefs.
Because the event has experienced massive growth over the years, the space being utilized at the Reagan Building has been increased and the redesigned in order to better accommodate the crowds in a manner that will enhance the experience and ensure that guests are able to interact with the various exhibitors.
