Listening to the Wartime Radio Revue is like taking a time machine back to the great entertainment of the World War II era. The band puts out a full and authentic “classic swing” sound with its hot, driving rhythm section, eight-piece horn section, and female vocalists. Swing to hits of the 1930’s and ‘40s such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and “Chattanooga Choo-Choo in their USO-style show.
Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic dinner; picnicking allowed on the grounds after 4:30 p.m. Parking is limited to Virginia Road, so bicycles and carpooling are encouraged; shuttle service will be provided. Please, pets are not allowed.
